Hospitals and medical services providers face significant challenges, mainly the high costs of providing the medical services, as well as the challenges related to the quality of these services, as the hospitals are dealing with human health; their life and death. TQM achieves the optimal use of resources, rationing of expenditures, and integrated quality in the operations and service provided to patients and hospital visitors.

Program Objectives:

At the end of the program, the trainee will be able to:

  • Know how the workers at the hospital and medical centers can apply TQM on the medical services,
  • Identify TQM uses at hospitals and health care centers,
  • Identify TQM applications at hospitals and health care centers, and
  • Identify how to develop TQM standards and quality measurements at hospitals medical centers.

  3. Quality as a standard in the journey of providing services at hospitals and health care centers.
  4. Concepts of quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA).
  5. Application of the medical quality at hospitals.
  6. Terms and steps of establishing quality management at hospitals.
  7. How to make a strategic plan for the quality, including vision, mission and objectives.
  8. Elements of achieving the total quality, purchasing quality and storage quality.
  9. Approving the medical quality at hospitals.
  10. Tools and methods used in the quality management and applying them at hospitals.
  11. Stages of applying TQM at hospitals and health care centers,,
  12. Concepts of using ISO 9001:2015 to develop the quality at hospitals and health care centers.
  13. Applying ISO 9001:2015 to develop the quality at hospitals.
  14. Analyzing of the satisfaction of patients, doctors and workers and its role in improving quality at hospitals and health care centers.
  15. Panel discussions and practical applications,
  • Medical leadership at hospitals.
  • Those responsible for managing hospitals, medical departments and sections related to medical, technical and administrative services.
